Vuwa is a member of the South African Venture Capital Association (SAVCA) and is registered with the Financial Services Board.

Vuwa is authorised in terms of the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services Act (FAIS) by the Financial Services Board (FSB) to supply certain categories of financial services. The FSB has not placed any restrictions on the license of the provider and it is not subject to any special exemptions. In terms of the Financial Intelligence Centre Act (FICA) providers of financial services are obliged under certain circumstances to obtain client information and to report certain financial transactions.

The provider does not hold more than 10% shares in any insurance company. The provider has adopted a compliance policy and keeps a gift register that covers potential conflicts of interest. All policies are available for perusal at the provider’s offices. The provider does not place business at any insurer.
