Yengwayo Ntshona (Legal Executive)

Bachelor of Laws (University of Cape Town, Rondebosch) B. Proc (Fort Hare University)

Yengwayo has extensive corporate and project finance experience. He worked for Standard Bank’s Property Finance Division as a property finance manager. Yengwayo has also worked as a Professional Assistant with Jowell Glyn and Marais Attorneys in Sandton.

Martin Buchalter (Chief Financial Officer)

Bcompt (Unisa), Bcompt Honours (Unisa), Chartered Accountant (SA)

With over 20 years experience in the finance industry, Martin Buchalter has held positions of responsibility in firms in both South Africa and the UK. As Chief Financial Officer of Vuwa, he adds his considerable knowledge and financial acumen to Vuwa’s valuable intellectual resources.

He oversees the group’s accounting and tax function, while performing the role of providing operational support to investee companies, where his involvement continues to contribute to the ongoing success of our investments. He also works closely with Corporate Finance and Directors on investment transactions.

He acts on behalf of Vuwa on the board of Matlasana medical health Services, Mr Price Mozambique and Space Securitisation.

Martin’s former positions include Head of Property Finance at Strutt & Parker (UK), Analyst at KPMG Transaction Services UK (Private Equity team), Finance Manager at Crystal Clear. He completed articles at Arthur Andersen and KPMG.

Riana Hulsman (Financial Manager)

BCom Accounting Science (Honours) & CA(SA)

As a key member of the Vuwa team, Riana’s skills contribute to the financial health and competitiveness of the group.

Riana’s former positions include Financial Manager at Upriver Developments. Previous to this she was employed at Deloitte, with clients in the mining, manufacturing and healthcare industries.
